I adore the shine in their eyes. Most days fill with excitement and happiness when they are together. They see possibilities in an apple seed and admire a sun filled sky. Rings around rosies and rocking babies. They laugh and play and dance—all while I consider myself the luckiest person in the universe.

Yet descriptions of our recent days seem so irrelevant.
