Gracie Happy

A few days ago, as I was putting her in the car after school, Gracie looked me right in the eye and said “Gracie happy!” At that moment everything else in my jam packed, no time to do anything, world stopped. I could not believe what she had said. Two simple words. Gracie and happy. The timing was perfect. It reminded me that life is merely perception. Joey and I rush around every day rolling through the motions of one daily task to another. The last two months have been hectic, exhausting, and stressful but Gracie doesn’t know that.

She is happy and that is all that matters to me.
